It may be a long title, but it’s certainly true — and this friendly twice-weekly Kemptown group of up to 12 women, which is organised by personal trainer Jeannie Hignell, aims to do something about it. Taking full advantage of the sea air, beach and open spaces which Kemptown has to offer, the group welcomes beginners and improvers and focusses on cardio work with power walking, jogging or running. They are proud to brave all weathers ‘except the totally extreme’. You need a pair of running trainers, a good sports bra and some sensible layered clothing.
Fee: £6 per session (paid for in blocks of five after first session).
