Mid-way between the bustle of St James Street and the comparative calm of Kemptown village and on a street leading down to the seafront, Cosiez Cafe has a great location on the corner of Upper St James St and pretty Wyndham St. The big windows get light from both sides – and in dry weather there’s a row of cheerfully-covered tables on the pavement.
The good-sized portions and friendly counter staff mean this has a good following of regulars. There are all-day breakfast and sandwich options, homemade quiches and soups. There are also some lovely, comforting cakes alongside the drinks menu of coffee, teas, cloudy juices and milkshakes.
