A popular place for eating, the daily menu offers bistro staples like local sausages and mash, a burger selection – and a number of sharing platters. On Sundays this is supplemented by a choice of substantial roasts, including a vegetarian option. There’s plenty to do besides drinking: a good supply of board games, Tuesday night is quiz night – and there’s a DJ on Fridays. The space can be hired for parties large and small.
